Families & Children
At our ski school, we pay special attention to our youngest alpine enthusiasts. The Kappl ski area is known above all for being family-friendly. This opens up great opportunities for us as a ski school to introduce children to a wide variety of winter sports.
At Sunny’s Kids’ Area, we have, among other things, 4 conveyor belts, a ski carousel, wave runs, our own kids’ restaurant, and much more.
Other highlights include our Sunny mascot, his Sunny House, the Sunny Slalom, cool Sunny souvenirs to take home, and “Sunny’s Warm-Up Hits”—two fun songs that encourage everyone to join in.
Every Thursday, we hold our Sunny Picnic with lots of fun and games, and every Friday there’s a kids’ ski race followed by an awards ceremony.
Pick up your course tickets upon presentation of your booking confirmation/invoice either on the evening before the first day of the course at our ski school office at the Dias-Bahn valley station from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or on the first morning of the first day of the course at our ski school office on the mountain, located in the Sunny Mountain Restaurant building, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The meeting point for the courses is directly in front of the Sunny Mountain Restaurant, across from the Dias-Bahn mountain station. Please arrive there on the first day of the course 20 minutes before the course begins.
Toddlers
Ages 3 to 5 (2 hours daily at the Aktiv-Club; max. 5 children per instructor)
Class times:
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The course can be booked daily from Sunday through Friday.
(There are no group courses on Saturdays.)
This course is intended exclusively for skiers.
Please provide your own ski equipment.
Lunch supervision is not provided.

Specialized, personalized, and intensive—in our private lessons, we’re able to tailor the instruction to each person’s skill level and customize the course to your specific wishes and needs.
The course is also perfect for families and friends who are at roughly the same skill level and want to stay together. You can arrange your lunch break individually with your instructors.
Please specify your preferred ski equipment and skill level so we can find the perfect ski instructor for you. If needed, let us know your preferred course language; depending on availability, we’d be happy to accommodate that as well.

Snowboarding Lessons
Kappl is a true paradise for snowboarders. Whether you’re already experienced on the board or just starting out, we have the perfect instructors for you. In small groups of about 5–7 snowboarders, you’ll learn both alpine and freestyle techniques. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you make significant progress!
